Warranty Policy
At Richsleep, we are committed to designing mattresses that offer lasting comfort, support, and durability. This Warranty Policy outlines the coverage, conditions, and claim process to ensure complete transparency and a smooth experience for our customers.
Warranty Coverage Period
All Richsleep mattresses are covered by a 10-Year Limited Warranty from the original date of purchase.
Prorated Warranty Structure
Years 1 – 3:
100% non-prorated coverage for eligible manufacturing defects.
Years 4 – 6:
50% prorated coverage. The customer pays 50% of the mattress value.
Years 7 – 10:
25% prorated coverage. The customer pays 75% of the mattress value.
What Is Covered Under Warranty
The warranty covers defects arising from manufacturing or material faults under normal residential or commercial use.
This includes:
- Manufacturing defects in material or workmanship
- Sagging or body impressions greater than 0.5 inch
- Foam cracking or splitting under normal usage
- Permanent material deformity not caused by misuse
- Stitching defects that affect product performance
All claims are subject to inspection by the Richsleep quality team.
What Is Not Covered
The following conditions are not covered under warranty:
- Normal softening of foam or gradual comfort changes over time
- Personal comfort preference
- Use on improper or unstable foundations
- Direct floor usage (this voids the warranty)
- Physical damage including cuts, burns, tears, stains, or misuse
- Liquid damage, moisture exposure, mold or mildew
- Damage caused while shifting, moving, or transporting the mattress
- Products without a valid purchase invoice
- General wear and tear expected with long-term use
Proper Usage and Base Requirements
To keep the warranty valid:
- The mattress must be used on a solid, flat bed base or suitable slatted base
- Usage directly on the floor is not permitted
- The mattress must be protected from moisture, spills and physical damage
Improper support or misuse will void the warranty.
Warranty Resolution Options
Once a claim is approved, Richsleep may offer one of the following options, based on customer preference and product availability:
- Replacement mattress
- Repair of the existing mattress
- Partial credit toward a new or equivalent model
- Upgrade option with price difference payable
The final mode of resolution will be determined after inspection.
Warranty Claim Process
Customers can raise a claim using:
Required documents:
- Valid purchase invoice
- Clear photos or videos showing the issue
Processing time:
All claims are reviewed within 7–10 working days after receiving complete documentation.
Logistics and Shipping Costs
All transportation and logistics costs associated with repairs, inspections, replacements, or return shipments are to be borne by the customer. Richsleep does not cover shipping or handling expenses under the warranty.
Transferability of Warranty
- The warranty is valid only for the original purchaser
- The warranty is non-transferable and does not apply if the product is resold or gifted
Usage Applicability
The Richsleep warranty is valid for both:
- Residential use
- Commercial use (hotels, hostels, PG accommodations, rental properties)
Coverage conditions remain the same for all usage types.
Inspection and Final Decision
All claims are subject to inspection and validation.
Richsleep reserves the right to make the final decision regarding warranty eligibility, approval, and mode of resolution.
The decision of Richsleep shall be final.
